Drive Time

Tell your child to take a look out the window during this ride. Ask them to focus on what God has created and call out things they see. Follow up with this question: What is your favorite thing that God created?

Parent Cue

Have you ever considered that you may be the best chance your son or daughter has to see God? I know it’s scary, but it’s true. Think about it. You can’t really see God, can you?

There are no tangible, verifiable images you can hold up and say, “This is God.” It’s too bad social media didn’t exist thousands of years ago. It would have settled a lot of issues for most of the skeptics.

The fact is, in everyone’s story of faith, there are people who show up and become catalysts for their spiritual growth. Chances are you believe what you believe, and you do what you do because someone influenced your faith. In some cases, it was a parent. In others, it was a significant adult who showed up at the right time in your life . . .
