Our Vision
We Believe in Community.
Our Values
Discipleship:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20
We believe in growing in our relationships with God, not simply being spectators. The word ‘disciple’ means ‘a follower or student of a leader or teacher’. As disciples of Christ, we want to follow Jesus in our daily living, our choices, and our future path. Being a disciple means saying no to ourselves and our desires, and seeking to always be connected to God in everything we do. We learn the bible, live out what the bible says, and help others understand how to do the same.
Compassion:
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
We believe that being like Christ means loving like Christ. We are here to show sacrificial love to people with physical, spiritual and emotional needs. We want to show the world that God has compassion on every person, every need and every circumstance.
Relationship:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
We are here to actively build meaningful and nurturing relationships inside and outside the church. We support each other, pray for each other, and get to know each other. We all contribute to the life and success of our church. We value being open and honest, and being a place where people can feel like they belong.
